How the Ashes 2017/18 fixture should've worked

Next year the Ashes will take place. Australia will host England in 5 test matches, followed by 5 ODIs and finally a trans-Tasman T20s tri-series.

I think Australia should play a 5 match T20, then a trans-Tasman ODI tri-series. I would've had a huge series featuring 16 matches.

No one will agree to a tri-series that long. Not even the old school World Series was that long
