Haven't been able to watch a Roar game since the win over Adelaide more than a month ago, too many weeknight games, I always finish work too late, and I'm always quite busy on Saturday nights, gonna miss the first leg of this game too. I'm completely free the next weekend so the return leg better not be on Friday night.

Central Coast have done exceptionally well to finish on 57 points. Never thought it was possible. Should have too much class for them over the two legs but hopefully we keep the undefeated streak alive in Gosford.

Interesting knock-out ties. The home teams both aren't really in great form, although I reckon Adelaide will be able to lift to avoid another home loss to the Phoenix, but Gold Coast don't seem to be going anywhere at the moment, so Melbourne should be able to get home away from home. Would set up an enticing Adelaide-Melbourne finals clash in the second week.

good to see the Mariners do well and nail second spot but I can't see them knocking the Roar off their perch

Also Tim, that Gold Coast-Victory match on Sunday may well be shifted to AAMI Park pending a pitch inspection tomorrow or first thing Wednesday morning.

If it does get shifted, where is the reward for Gold Coast finishing higher?

They'll probably lift more playing in front of a big crowd and good atmosphere in Melbourne than playing to an empty stadium at home

I doubt it, finals - wants to make money.

How he's not operating at a loss is beyond me.

Unless he is operating at a loss...

Brisbane are phenomenal. 2-0 to me didn't represent the effort our boys put in, but it does show the class Brisbane have.

It would probably take a miracle for us to host the GF now, I'm actually content with the Preliminary Final - means I can actually go to a game! Missed last night AND last weekend.

:? And thereby anything could've happened.

Instead, the Roar have a fraudulent home final and fraudulent unbeaten record.

Grand Final day it is.

We'll get past the Gold Coast on Saturday to set that up.
