Chooks can have all they like in the 1-7 but their forwards are below par. They will compete and be up there come the pointy end of the season but it won't win them a comp.

The Roosters will need about 5-6 weeks to get their combinations working. At least they can start next Friday with the return of boom five eighth Luke Keary -- one of the many exciting attacking prospects at the Sydney Roosters. The Cronk-Keary combo is going to be a sight to see.

The Roosters only have 2 new players in their main team (arguably the best in their positions), the rest has been playing together for years

Newcastle fielded 9 new players in the 17 man squad last Friday. Over half the team had never played for the knights, including the all important spine. And they still won.

Your excuses are almost as pathetic as your forward pack

I can’t wait for the Newcastle v Roosters game this year. I reckon the knights will tear them to pieces & send old Robbo back to France.

To be fair, the Knights didn't have to contend with the likes of Cory Thompson, Kevin Naquima, Pits Godinet and Matt McIllwrick

The Roosters comprehensive drubbing of the Bulldogs gave several glimpses of the reasons why why the Roostters will win the Grand Final in 2018: namely, James Tedesco, Luke Keary, Latrell Mitchell, and Cooper Cronk. The Roosters won easily despite a sin binning and losing two players to serious injury.

Tigers beat Roosters. Tigers beat Melbourne. Therefore you’re an idiot.

You need a few lessons in elementary logic. The Tigers two fluke 10-8 wins do not make anyone an idiot.

The Tigers have improved on last year and shocked the two top teams with identical 10-8 wins. Their luck will not continue throughout the season because the Tigers do not have the talent roster of the Roosters, Storm, Cowboys and Warriors (the top 4 teams).
