If NSW lose this years series should Laurie Daley be sacked?

In my opinion NSW must sack Laurie Daley as NSW coach. If NSW do loose this year then that would only be 1 series win from 5 attempts. And 11 losses from the past 12 series.

Isn't amazing how a former Blues player who was terrible at Origin (besides that one game when he was a bench cameo) defends his mate who is even worse at Origin from any fair criticism from passionate former Blue legends that want to actually see the team succeed through the right selections and want to challenge the chorus of media heads who keep insisting on picking Pearce.

Once he started talking about Queensland's success being due to their loyalty and implementing that in his selection policy he should of been sacked.

2006. Queensland have lost the last 3 series. They pick 9 debutants during the series. The rest is history.

And let's not forget, the only series NSW have won since 2006 has been when Cooper Cronk was injured 20 minutes or so into the first game of the 2014 series leading him to miss the second game. If you want to break down the stats, QLD scored more points in that series when Cronk was on the field (for about 100 mins/240 mins) then NSW scored in the 3 games.

Laurie Daley is my favourite rugby league player of all time, and in my opinion the best NSW Origin player in history.

wally didn't even win a series. and the quality of sides wasn't so disparate....they had legends like meinga lidner boxhead langer gilly ranouf etc all running around at the time.

given the cattle, what laurie has done respectively deserves alot more credit.
