Anyone here supplement with Vitamin D3? Raising Vitamin D levels in your body through supplementation is gaining a lot of momentum in scientific studies as being something that prevents many diseases such as cardiovascular disease. Many people supplement with 2000IU to 6000IU per day and report feeling much better, more alert, more energy and better overall health while never getting colds or sick.

Especially when any of us could get randomly run over by a bus or something tomorrow...

It isn't strange at all.
Half this section is about how to live a longer and healthier life.
'Immortality' is not something that can be achieved of course, and all the efforts in the world can only really add a few years to your life - but it doesn't hurt to look at all your options for a long and happy life.

Look, If Lemmy, god rest his soul, managed to hit 70 I see no reason to try anything to extend my life.

but you can't add more than a few years maybe by getting stuck into the anti oxidents, omega 3s, vitamins, etc that are supposed to slow down the ageing process.

maybe there is a way (or more than one way) but people (or most people) haven't worked it out yet

Proclaiming you are immortal is a good theory to have, because if it turns out you were wrong you won't be around to hear about it.
