I'm very interested in Matras from a 2006 Cups point of view...

hennessy waltz has been right there lately finshing behind infinite grace, flaming and shalimar sky at it's recent starts. loves the distance. prefers the sting out the ground (so moonee valley should suit). i think she can win this one.

matras will have to be good to win from the outside but the form says yes

I like the 8 - Storm Alert. Been following it since before the Oaks last year. Not a bad run last start either.

Must say though, it is a fairly disappointing meeting for Cox Plate Day

Big run by Hennesy Waltz. Those $6.50's they gave me Friday looked good 200m from home.

What about Matras. I been sprooking her for the Cups next year and was real interested to see how she went. And was not disappointed. Was a big run. Let me on now for the 2006 Caulfield Cup, I'll load up :lol:
