Blacklock back against the Dogs or the week after.
Long due back against the Dogs.
Barrett probably to play against the Dogs
Head could be out for 2 weeks
Bailey 2 - 6 weeks
Hornby back against the Dogs.
Thompson could be back soon it depends on what the MRI shows up tomorow.

Keeping that in mind my team against the Dogs would be:

1. Hornby
2. Carlaw
3. Gasnier
4. Cooper
5. Simmonds
6. Timmins
7. Barrett
8. Long
9. Riddell
10. Kite
11. Young
12. Sims
13. Jensen

14. Withers
15. Ryles
16. Poore
17. Creagh

I think the team will look like this assuming Blacklock, Head, Bailey are out.
1. Hornby
2. Creagh
3. Gasnier / Carlaw (if Gasnier didn't pull up alright with his hammy)
4. Cooper
5. Simmonds
6. Barrett
7. Gorrell
8. Kite
9. Riddell
10. Ryles
11. Young
12. Thompson / Sims (if Thommo isn't up for playing, Sims to prop, Ryles to the backrow)
13. Timmins

14. Long
15. Sims / Jensen (if Thommo is out)
16. Poore
17. Withers

Bailey- Chest Problem. Similar to the one he had a couple of years ago where he was out for 5 months. Not as bad this time. 4 to 6 weeks

Blacklock- Hamstring. Probably miss this week. Depends on how his hamstring heals after that. 1-2 weeks

Gasnier- Had a hamstring problem before the Manly game. It was the reason he missed the game for City. Played against Manly. I saw him limping in the first half. I hope he's alright, haven't heard anything to say he'll miss any more games

Just heard a rumour that Bailey's injury is worse then first thought and he may be out for the season. I hope it's not true.

It's confirmed, he's out for the season. Just saw it on seven news where they said Bailey confirmed it himself

Unlucky on the injury front guys. Seems to happen every year hey?

Ive heard that Bailey's injury is very similar to one that he was out for a few months with a while back. Ruptured/torn pectoral muscle. Not much fun.

Your halfback this week should be Lachlan Russell. He's a solid player, so he should be given a go. Barrett shouldn't ever have a number 7 on his back. 6 or 13 is where he belongs.

Blacklock - hamstrigns are dodgy things. You don't come back after a week, not if you are serious about it. They are too easy to tear again.

It's a shame for you guys, playing so well against the Sharks, and then so crappy against Manly. I guess it was to be expected though. The drop off happens every year.

Just heard an unsubsaciated report that Bailey is gone for the season with that Pec tear

Will try & find a "proper" source...

I heard that too - secondhand from someone who heard it on the radio.

It's official:

Bailey out for Season

An MRI scan today has put an end to St.George Bank Dragons Test prop Luke Bailey's season, revealing that his torn left chest muscle (pectoral) will require surgery.

Bailey, 24, who was injured in yesterday's loss to Manly, will see a specialist this week to confirm when he will have surgery.

In other injury news, captain Trent Barrett (hamstring), Ben Hornby (quad) and Nathan Long (knee) have been cleared to play this Saturday against the Bulldogs at WIN Stadium; while Lance Thompson (shoulder muscle strain) will face a fitness test later in the week but is considered likely to play; and Nathan Blacklock (hamstring) has been ruled out.
