When is Gower back?

He's the obvious choice if fit

Shit - I forgot Gower was injured, too!

Gower would be my first choice to replace Scott - he's not quite as good, but he's a bloody handy player imo.

Pritchard...Smith and King in tandem, maybe?

Would Taka come into consideration as the bench replacement for Scott and Kirisome move to the centres for Taka? Not sure how this would work from an interchange point of view, but maybe Manu shuffles into the middle (he seems the most direct runner) and Taka takes his edge forward spot.

Yep, down on troops in the forwards so we have to make use of Taka's utility value off the bench.

I'd start with Auva'a, Smith, Edwards, with King also on the bench, and have someone switch into the middle as needed, maybe with some of the prop rotation guys doing double/longer shifts?

Really? The only plus Hoff and Auva'a you could be referring to is rucking it out, and even then that's only a weakness of French, not Taka. Unless you are referring to defence, in which case none of them are especially skilled
