All I can say is thank f**k we picked up this absolute champion.
Watching him closely tonight is only solidifying how big and important his signing really is. If he's not taking a valuable hit-up, he's looking for a cheeky pass around the ruck, or making a desperate tackle in cover defence, or sparking his forwards with some motivational words. He is ALL about those 1 percenters, best forward on the field tonight. So pumped to have him join our squad next year!
I was thinking the same thing. He is an out and out competitor who will get a new lease of life with us.

Easily best player for England tonight. He will be fantastic for our forward pack.

I watched him almost exclusively tonight to see his game seperate of the Dog's environment... Observed a few things -

Whenever an Aussie player almost made a break, it was always Graham with the desperate tackle around the legs.
The Australian forwards were always up on Graham because of the threat he poses in the middle with his quick skilful hands. They know he's dangerous.
Whenever the poms looked a little flat, he was always there to take a hit up and relieve some pressure.
Wherever the ball shifted, he was there, making tackles in cover defence.
He wasn't the captain but his talk around the ruck was constant.
Dugan makes a break and is certain to score, but he's the last one to chase... Right to the death.
145 metres, 40 tackles tonight.

He's f**king hungry, and he is EXACTLY what we need. Biggest signing this club has seen in some years.

Hope he slows down a bit.
Don’t want to overdo it.
Look after that body, mate.
Look after that ugly melon and don’t get injured!
Save it for when you have the real red & white on.

Graham has a big motor. Widdop was
erratic. However he and Hunt should be a solid combination.

Widdop makes a simple game look so complicated.

You know, get the ball over the line... but down the other end, not the sideline.

The reason is he won't ever take on the damn line..... A crabbing player brings confusion.... and a crap attack to any team.

Agree with you.
But the thing a like the most was when dugan took that intercept and ran the length of the field the only one chasing him was Graham for 80 meters.
He will go great with us and he will lift the rest of the team.

And did you see him on the ground afterwards, he was absolutely stuffed, the effort he had just put in was 100%.

I noticed the same attitude earlier in the game, he had been doing a lot of defence and was down on his knees trying to get some air when there was a quick play the ball and he jumped up to make the covering tackle and then went straight back to his knees.

These are the efforts that make the difference and hopefully become infectious.

With him in the forwards we will have the best pack in the league. With the right bench and hopefully it is used properly it's going to be a big year for us.

Graham is like a predictable and reliable draft horse and will be an upgrade on Packer. Knucklehead just needs to get the three-quarter line firing and if he can not do this sack him immediately as it should be a simple task with no room for his pathetic excuses. Dufty, Widdop and Hunt aside he needs to choose in form players.
Nightingale scored 16 tries this year sp he should get a stsrt. Lafai did little last night. Aitken scored a few tries last year but needs to improve his defence and learn how to pass. MacDonald is lacksadaisical and needs a rocket up his arse so replace him with Garrick, Herbert or Lomax. There is no room for Mary and his clowns to dither and whine. Results are all that count.
