Billionaire James Packer has resigned from 22 Australian company directorships in the past few weeks and no longer holds any board seat in his home country, corporate records show, signalling his almost full retreat from public business life.

To be fair, I'd be pretty crushed if Mariah Carey left me too.
However, should this mean that he leaves his post at Souths what implications would we be facing?

He can still be a shareholder without being on the board.
It could mean very little. It won’t mena very much unless he sells his shares.
I don’t think it’s so much Mariah Carey that’s done him in, i think that went arse over tit because of his feelings for his ex wife.
