Jason Taylor re-joins Roosters

Former Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor has been appointed assistant coach at the Roosters, returning to the position he held between 2013-14.

Taylor's appointment follows Justin Holbrook's decision to depart the club, moving to the UK to take up the position of head coach at Super League club St Helens.

Taylor's time as Wests Tigers coach came to an end earlier this season after just over two seasons at Concord Oval, with his second stint at the Tricolours beginning immediately.

I love playing coach spot bingo when they turn to the coach box 10, 11 or 12 hundred times during a game.

It happens so often you can see the whole saga of Bennett attack a stubborn booger over the course of a game or Bellamy ingest an assistant like an anaconda as he yells at them throughout a Storm victory.

He has shown that when he is an assistant coach of a team with 14 Internationals he can do great things.
