Case of good coaching and a champion team with no potential NRL standouts? Anyone watched these kids?

Also note young Tex Hoy who carved up reggies about 6 weeks ago cannot get off the bench in this team this week.....

They've scored 562 points after 18 games, 160 or so more than 2nd. Surely there must be some guns in the side.

I don't think them not making the NSW U20's squad matters much. We've consistently had players in there and yet here we are, mostly complaining that we haven't produced enough quality talent. So basically it's a null point.

Its a quality team with a lot of upcoming fantastic players. Cooper, Gibbs, Loughrey and Starling have been ones to keep a keen eye on for the last several years. Tex Hoy not making the run on squad is probably more telling of the luxury we have in that side. Impact player, comes on and rips sides apart.

Went and watched them on Saturday. Some very impressive players. Kurtis Dark looks like the pick of them (although there is plenty of good ones) works hard on both sides of the ball and is a very good goal kicker.

Thanks for the feedback. Just out of interest wasnt Gibbs the kid that was poached by the tigers last year? He is now back?

Agree that not making the rep side is meaningless. Did Bedsy coach the 20's NSW team this year or just assistant to Freddy for origin?

Another big win over the Warriors on the weekend keeps them on top.

Surely there are one or two of these forwards we can transition into proper first graders in the next 3 to 4 years?

Agreed 1-2 but we need now not 3-4 years, don't sacrifice them too early think Safiti boys needed 3-4 but got 1-2, they will get better, still need two experienced props for next few years

Win over the Panthers away and minor premiers! A week after putting 50 on a strong Warriors side away.

Great achievement by these kids.

Brown has to be given some credit here. He inherited a junior void after Bennett/Stone but it seems like we have some talent coming through.

For all the critics about 1st grade which is arguably warranted maybe this is also a lot about why he was hired for the role..

Yep. Fought their was back from 18 - 10 to grab the lead with a few mins left only to give it back on the siren.

Tom Starling was a cut above everyone else out there.
