Does anyone know who the squad is? When and where they are playing and who are they playing?

Should be a very strong team given the warriors standing and others eligible. Anyone hazard to guess on a likely team?

I'll have a dig.
I would go for Ulugia over Slaimankhel at fullback.
He has more skills.

Slaimankhel is somewhat of a ball hog and lacks ball playing skills.
Plus I think he will crack FG on the wing not at fullback.

Probably have missed out heaps of quality players.
But it is a good start.
Not too sure about fonua but heard some tongan who reckon he is eligible.

1. Wayne Ulugia
2. Adam Henry / Malakai Watene-Zeslnieak
3. Konrad Hurrell
4. Mahe Fonua
5. Omar Slaimankhel
6. Carlos Tuimavave (Matt Mgahan)
7. Michael Parker-Walshe
8. Josh Aliomai
9. Slade Griffin
10. Ben Murdoch-Maisila
11. Jason Taumalolo
12. Josh Papalii
13. Kenny Bromwhich

Siliva Havili
SioSuia Taukieaho
Tohu Harris
Uiti Baker
Michael Chee-Kam
Sam Lousi

I have a suspicion that Papalii's time in FG will make him ineligible, as he's played more FG than NYC.

I like Ulugia but I don't think there's any way selectors will go for him over Omar. Maybe on the wing, and I'd like to see Malaki Watene-Zelezniak or DJ Collier (I assume he's a kiwi?) there or thereabouts.

Im biased but Id be putting McGahan in the halves. Regularly getting over 400 gained mtrs in kicking lately to go along with his stout defence, great passing game and ability to run the show.

Would have to think Tim Lafai would be a chance also

Slaimankhel is somewhat of a ball hog and lacks ball playing skills.

 why, because he follows up and scores lots of trys ?

the T/Cup stats say Omar has fairly decent skills..

Lafai had off season surgery so isn't available but that is a strong looking side

I think Ben Henry, the Warriors captain will be the first player picked.

I would go with:

1. Omar Slaimankhel
2. Adam Henry
3. Konrad Hurrel
4. Mahe Fonua
5. Wayne Ulugia
6. Carlos Tuimavave
7. Michael Parker-Walshe
8. Jason Taumalolo
9. Slade Griffin
10. Josh Ailomai
11. Ben Henry
12. Ben Murdoch-Masila
13. Kenneath Bromwich

14. Matt McIllwrick
15. Tohu Harris
16. Tyson Frizell
17. Sam Lousi
18. Mosese Fotuiaka
19. Uiti Baker
20. Teni Waipouri

Josh Papali I believe will miss out due to many first grade games.
I think Tim Simona could find a spot on the wing or be a back up centre.
Also I think Tupou Sopoga has had a good season from the Bulldogs and can cover centre and backrow.

Wonder of the Kiwis would give Denny Solomona a look in considering the way he finished the season. His speed outside Hurrel would be unfathomable.

I really believe that Jordan Meads may have just outplayed Parker-Walshe into the junior Kiwi's halves position with Tuimavave.

What a great game today!

No DJ Collier? Thought Meads would've been selected ahead of Tuimavave since there's no real halfback there, and where the F is Ben Henry and Konrad Hurrell?
