How about Nightingale in defence and Field in attack for the first few games. He is now playing against men in reserve grade and has just put in a good one for the junior Kangaroos. He may be ready however, he isn't tested. So let's test him.
Not a bad idea. Although somehow I doubt Mary will do this.

Lafai has only kicked 6/9 goals for Canterbury = 66.67%
In 2013 - 1/1
In 2014 - 4/4
In 2015 - 1/4

Nona does the goal kicking in the Intrust Cup so neither Field nor Herbert kick. Nona kicked 6/7 in his last game. Pat Herbert kicked 3/4 in the test and Field kicked 5/9.

Milne has played a bit of wing so Mary might go that way. Nighty to F/B and Milne on the wing. Depends on how much he wants a goal kicker!

I hope that I am wrong , however it may better if we wait until after Sunday's City V Country match when choosing our replacements .

I have a feeling that we are not out of the woods just yet , as far as injuries are concerned Who knows , maybe we will have some of our younger players making their debuts in the top-grade .

Big Mose may even make a ' guest ' appearance . Could be the just the tonic that the man requires to step up to the mark ?

Well it's an opportunity. Ok who is FB
Nighty
Field
Mann
Duffy
Assuming the coach goes with Nighty, who goes to the wing?

If Milne plays centre. Does Aitken play wing ? That could be a risky.

Interested in others views here.
If they get rid of Dugan with there dumb arse negotiations, they must have some one in he club to take his place so y not play that person at fb, unless we are going out side the club to by some one

On the bright side Dugan can sort his contract out now and it may be less distracting to the playing group..
If a replacement shines Dugan might come unstuck. Its unlucky timing for him. But may be luck for us in the long run.

Replacement? McGregor will simply choose Nightingale at the back, and Milne will get an opportunity on the wing.

It's good that we have depth in the squad, surely we are tested now.....

Apparently he will miss the sharks and warriors games.
Then the bye before origin 1 on the 31st May.
So he will probably be picked for origin 1 and the Tigers clash is three days later so we can more than likely expect him
Yeh,he will miss 3 weeks with one bye round so only 2 game apparently.
Out for Sharks and Warriors games.
Good news

Following on from my error on last post,
We can expect him to miss the Tigers match which is 3 days after origin 1 as he will more than likely pick up some injury

1. Field
2. Nightingale
3. Milne
4. Lafai
5. Macdonald
6. Mann
7. McCrone
8. Packer
9. McInnes
10. Vaughan
11. Thompson
12. Frizell
13. De Belin

14. Ah Mau
15. Sims
16. Leilua
17. Lawrie / Kerr / Sele / Host
When exactly did Field jump ahead of Dufty as our backup fullback to Dugan ?. And if he is why doesn't he play that position in reserve grade ? . I find the idea of throwing a kid who hasn't played fullback for years and is having injury problems from playing against men straight into first grade against probably the most physical team in the comp a joke .

Dufty has played 9 or so games in reserve grade now and from all reports is getting better by the week in a very ordinary team . At the start of the year Mary said he would be the fill in for Dugan during the rep games . So here is the perfect chance to give him 2 games at the top level in a position he specialises in and see where he is at .

I don't really know, you would have to ask Millward and Mary why he has jumped ahead of Dufty. I am a great admirer of Dufty and would have liked to see him get his chance at this point but Field has been mentioned as the favoured fullback in 2018 by Millward. Mary wants Dugan to be signed by the Dragons and play fullback in 2018.

Consistant and is a option for kicker.
I think nighty to fb
Herbert to the wing

Anyone not expecting KFFL to be brought in on the wing or bench before Herbert, Field or Dufty is going to be bitterly disappointed.

Fair enough I suppose. Thought a regular kicker was important however, two points gained against possible four points.
