Hard to know who will withdraw although I'd imagine a team like the following would be a strong one.

    1. Mitchell (Trbojevic injured)
    2. Edwards - Penrith
    3. Matautia - Newcastle
    4. Jennings - Penrith
    5. Scott - Storm
    6. Crocker - Raiders
    7. Hastings - Roosters (Cleary - Panthers)
    8. Felise - Tigers
    9. Nikorima - Roosters (Brailey - Sharks)
    10. Twal - Parramatta
    11. Fuimoano - Parramatta
    12. Hess - Cowboys
    13. Pangai - Broncos
    14. Watson - Roosters (Lamb - Newcastle)
    15. Host - Dragons
    16. Tatola - Tigers
    17. Sua - Broncos

That's an all NSW backline and the interesting thing is Brian Kelly missed out... No way will he miss out for NSW U20's after his performance last year.

Yep, born January 1996. So can Nelson Asofa-Solomona, who I assume Bellamy has held out from this game.

Gideon mosby gela would have been first player picked if not injured. Forward pack is almost all qlders. Augurs well for the interstate game.

Yeah absolutely and not someone like Sione Mata'utai who's already played for Austrlalia or Tom Trobojevic, Latrell Mitchell, Jackson Hastings or any other NSWeslman right? The whole bench is NSW, 13/17 are NSWelshman.

Oliver Clark and Soni Luke (Junior Kangaroos) and Jarome Luai (Junior Kiwis) would've also been picked if it wasn't for injury.

They got 6 including the junior kiwis. Hard to compare when you say they murdering the competition. Take the roosters sitting in 4th yet Mitchell, Hastings, Nikorima and recently Watson all eligible are playing NRL. They would have a very different team if all were playing 20s. Panthers, with the exception of Fisher-Harris are all still in NYC.

Yeah, while Penrith are going great, 8 of the Junior Kangaroos have already played first grade so it's hard to justify selecting guys doing well in the NYC over NRL players. Its not the NYC Kangaroos.

Also, if Mitchell and Hastings weren't first grade regulars I'd imagine they'd be in the team as well. I think 4 Panthers (5, had Clark not gotten injured) is fair considering the other players available. Maybe someone like Corey Waddell could consider themselves unlucky.

Cleary has an amazing kicking game. Such a smart player. God I hope he can deliver on his potential.
