Quite a few in the Souths team had 1st grade experience.

4 Tim Winitana / Bulldogs
6 Marvin Karawana / Newcastle Knights
7 Billy Ngawini / Bulldogs
12 Lee Te Maari / Bulldogs
13 Jon Te Reo / Brisbane Broncos
24 Bronx Goodwin / Canberra Raiders

Just from a quick run through. Last year Rangi Chase played and carved up nows hes in the Kiwis train on squad. Too much bro!

There must be a fair few playing up in QLD maybe they can expand the comp in future.

ANyone know if those in the lists have potential for 1st grade

yea there would be at 10 or so who have already debuted in first grade:

Goodwin brothers, Lee Te Maari, Tim Winitana, Billy Ngawini, John Te Reo, Ricky Thorby

LeRoy Houston - was picked for the Wallabies in Union, but walked away too young - think he might be going back nexy year though.

Heard good things about Lewis Brown from Tigers (hooker/ lock??).

Greg Eastwood - was signed up by broncos a few years back with big hopes after playing for aussie schoolboys. fell of the horse a bit though.

A few ex junior kiwis in their - Reihana Peters played in 2003 side against eastwood, benji and cutie.

Most PL players are first grade potential its more about opportunity.

yeah cuz - hard out need to expand to QLD cup.

Imagine a mix of these players plus some other who missed out for Kiwi top 19 forming to make a maori rep team to play in federation shield or any visiting nations.

Throw in:
Adam Blair, Harrison, Perrett, Webster, eastwood, Leulauai, Toopi, Lance Hohaia, Rangi Chase. . . . goes on

How could any rugby league fan not like the sound of that.
