Langlands charged with child sex offences

I remember a bloke once, he got accused of inappropriate behaviour towards a woman after a few beers at a work party.
Turned out to be complete rubbish, of course.

But he did lose a lot over the incident.

I dont remember too many around these parts giving him the benefit of the doubt, or giving him the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

So lay the boot into Langlands too I reckon, in the true spirit of LU.

Really? I reckon the vast majority of posts have been appropriately measured.

Yes indeed.
I guess the poor bastard just needs to live with the fallout from the headlines and falsehoods thrown around.

Last I heard, he had moved to the relative obscurity of Melbourne to escape it.

All good though. Guilty in the court of public opinion, so good job Daily Telegraph, etc, lapped up by the usual suspects who jumped early without facts.

Very passionate defence of an alleged rock spider.

What falsehoods are you talking about? All the news seems quite factual to me.
He was charged and the case will not be heard cos he is not in a fit state.

People will think what they want.

I think he might not be talking about the person this thread is about, but rather a former manly player.

It is far too easy to accuse someone of a crime. Because mud sticks you never have to totally prove anything. In the future when people think of Langlands the first thing they are going to think of is this.
The first and only thing I think about Langlands is white boots.

Evidently over 90% of kiddie fiddling is done by a family member or someone well known to the family, although this figure may be distorted because many of these assaults go unreported or are covered up by the family.
