pulled the pin. I think also, quite lately he has had some personal tragedy in his life.
He still goes on Facebook and is as funny as ever.

We picked him up from the airport a couple of years back for the 9's,, he reminds me of a kiwi Robyn Williams... naturally funny.

As skinner said, been some tragedy, that I wouldn't wish on anyone, very recently.
Quite sad seeing but he'll bounce back.

Remember him well.
He was a big man, some said 6'5" or more.
Worked for the SIS in some capacity.
Liked his jelly wrestling; but who doesn't?
Some say Cappy approached him to play in the halves last season, then changed his mind and wanted him to play prop.
Patron of the JRo fan club. Collected fans from all over the world for the great man's "Wall of fans".
Some talk he was often seen with a very hairy friend but, being Wellington, this wasn't unusual.
So nothing unusual about him; just like any other Warriors fan really.
