Just noticed that the Toulouse website has all their home crowds mentioned where you watch the games, I'll go through each one tomorrow and see what average they have.

Is there a promotion/relagation from Ler1 to Ler2 Parra?

Yeah, but it also depends if the winning team from the lower division feels they are up to the job of moving up, if a club think they may struggle, they can stay where they are until they are strong enough. Also if the FFR13 think a club might struggle, they can stop them moving up and killing themselves trying to compete.

Corbeil (Paris) decided not to join LER 1 a few years ago because they wanted to make sure everything was in place, the next night their club house and everything bar a few jumpers burnt to the ground, now they're playing in one of the Federal Leagues.

Avignon 36 vs St Esteve/XIII Catalan 12

http://www.citylocalnews.com/avigno...inale-ch-france-elite-avignon-perpignan-36-12

RUGBY A XIII - FINAL ¼ CH. FRANCE ELITE: AVIGNON - Perpignan: 36-12 SOA / Bisons in the semifinals! Players of the SOA have achieved a true feat, that of qualifying for the semifinals of the championship of France after their victory over Perpignan on Saturday Saint Ruf (36-12). As bosses, Avignon has won a historic semi-final they will play against AS Carcassonne next Saturday in Toulouse on May 5 (17h) All the ingredients were Saturday at St. Ruf for a wonderful celebration. First victory in the quarterfinals of the Junior Championship final against France Juniors Elite Lescure (42-24) and the world in the stands who fervently encouraged players. All under the eyes of the recent Champions League B of France, the Avignon players Volleyball, their coach Jose Amet and their president Thierry Minssen. tense game begins ... The meeting began so fierce and committed on both sides , caramels rained and buffers were difficult. It is finally and against the run of play as the Catalans opened the first brand through Jeremy Grau after an incredible blunder of Aaron Wood in his in-goal (19th). Brett Kelly managed to play well once initiated by Darren Nicholls and are accompanied by Regis Chave (21st) to reset the counters. Morgan was speaking Escaré powder (25th) before Joris Bissière drove the nail just before half-time by being the fastest to go under the pole, weaving between defenders Perpignan. Nicholls added a penalty that allowed the Bisons return to the locker room at the top but without much domination (12-8). The beginning of the second act promised complicated to maneuver and it is the Roussillonnais that eventually crack under the battering of the Bisons, supercharged, led by a cheering crowd. Chave (55th) was helped by the tandem-Kelly Nicholls again to go before this same lady enters a doubled Kelly (65th) to mark the worse right after a test Escaré (51st). Risk taking charge, the people of Avignon were the death knell came with the support of two Tamghart Sayeed who sent the "Blue and White" in the semifinals next week in Carcassonne, Toulouse Saturday, May 5. And after 30 years ... So, after thirty years of famine that the people of Avignon will find the last square of the domestic competition. Coach, presidents and players were jubilant with their audience and happy with this outcome that we would never have said so. Buses will be available to go support "SOAistes" in search of a final in seven days.

According to Rugbyforumxiii, Independent had the crowd at 3,600.

Lezignan 28 vs Toulouse 4

http://www.ladepeche.fr/article/2012/04/29/1342084-barrages-lezignan-deborde-toulouse.html

Dams. Lézignan overflows Toulouse
Rugby League. Dams. The Toulouse Olympique overwhelmed.

Lézignan eventually break through the wall Toulouse. / Photo DDM, Walter Desplas
Much. The wall after a defeat in Villeneuve-sur-Lot (22-29) and an unexpected fourth place, the Lézignanais got rid of dams yesterday afternoon training Toulouse a little dull and lacked a bit realism. The Upper Garonne have failed to conclude two occasions free trial from behind Nathan Ross and scrumhalf Mourak Kriouache. The TO could only rarely get rid of the right-Aude, however he scored the first try by winger Adam Innes perfectly offset in the end. This advance has not disrupted the title holder (since 2008!). As the minutes, the front of the Corbières took over to give a little more volume to the game, and the hinge (Wynn-Mullane) has fully weighed on the meeting. After twenty minutes, the score was flattering to Lézignan (12-4 at 22) and quickly weighed (18-4 in the 29th). Lézignan has kept pace with the recovery and with the support of a strong sea wind. Late in the game, the defense sought Toulouse very bowed twice. Finally, the score is logical but a little heavy for Toulouse who deserved to reduce the gap in the dying minutes.

Players. Siamese twins Lézignan, Kane Bentley, hooker and flanker Andrew were paramount in the success. Defensive in the register, both brought their explosiveness. In the movie offensive, they were also involved in all the achievements of their training. Close to the light, Kane was a poison to the Toulouse defense.

The declaration. Christophe Poumès (Lezignan): "It is satisfying to play the semifinals. We will not be favorites because Pia beat us three times. Saturday in Toulouse, we can align our team type, we will defend our chances and our hard-won title. "

The other dam. Avignon has largely XIII Catalan / Saint-Esteve by 36 to 12.

The semi-finals. Lézignan Pia meet Saturday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. in Toulouse. Previously, 17 hours, Avignon will face Carcassonne.

Says 2000 in attendance, but I'll wait and see what Toulouse put up when they put the Video of the game up on their website (usually has the right crowd in it)

What would the standard of the French comp be when compared to local Australian levels?

NSW CRL group level, State cup? Where would you think it currently stands and is it improving much?

Just trying to get a feel for the standard..

Some of the teams would give a few QLD cups sides a run, others wouldn't have a hope, so I guess somewhere just below that. It's definitely improving though, these days a few of the bigger clubs have academies and other things in place.
