I don’t think money would have mattered.
He isn’t in a relationship with the child’s mother. He is moving to be closer to them, since they are located up the coast.

Should we have paid him enough to support his current situation plus extra to relocate his child and the mother. Every current partner would love to have the former partner close by.
Maybe we should have bought him a massive house so they could all live together.

Have you been hacked Frank? This isn’t your style of thread

We were told quite early by Ramien that money wouldn't sway his decision. The decision was met well by Cronulla and gives us time to prepare around him.

This is about being close to his daughter during her early developmental years of school.
You can only imagine the milestones he has missed already so kudos to him for not allowing it to happen anymore.
This one stings though, he is on the brink of being an early superstar and his career is going to stagnate at Newcastle.
Nothing against the Knights, but they suck, their coach seems clueless and he will become a run of the mill centre whilst he is there.

I tend to agree they will have Ponga/Ramien/Moga in the backs Pearce in halves but no go forward up front.

For that will cost big dollars and tring to influence players to go there is a problem so will need to pay overs

On the plus side, we seem to be unearthing plenty of good juniors, turning first graders we get like Fafita and Prior into stars, and attracting established stars like Lewis and Dugan.

It has been a long time since we have consistently done any of those, and under Flanno we are doing all three. That naturally means we will lose some good players, but that is a sign of how strong we are across all grades and all over the park in first grade.

Very good point, thats importance of keep making finals, players look at coming to the club for chance to win the comp

Ramien will go just fine at newcastle & become a rep centre. Only problem is , it will be short lived.
Bronson Xerri will be our right centre or Feefs front row partner. He can take his pick.

Next big mistake in progress? Dogs sniffing around Katoa pretty hard.

That would do me losing Ramien and Katoa in the same season.

Apparently Flanno said earlier this year Katoa was locked up for next year. But what’s a contract these days?

The Dogs are bloody desperate for backs.
