With a total of sixteen people voting, we've got a pretty comprehensive list of everybody's favourite wrestlers. With WWE/F, WCW, TNA, ECW, Ring of Honor, and CHIKARA all represented, we've also got a pretty diverse list.

Before we launch into it was #50, here are those that missed the cut. This list may have changed from the previous.

New Jack - 1
Matt Hardy - 1
Davey Richards - 1
John Bradshaw Layfield - 1
Stephanie McMahon - 1
Billy Kidman - 1
Juventud Guerrera - 2
Bobby Roode - 2
Jack Evans - 2
William Regal - 2
Wrath - 2
Terry Funk - 2
Alberto del Rio - 2
Rick Rude - 3
Goldust - 3
Booker T - 3
Owen Hart - 3
Arn Anderson - 3
Kevin Steen - 4
Mike Awesome - 4
Trish Stratus - 4
Big Boss Man - 4
Jake 'The Snake' Roberts - 5
Harley Race - 6
Homicide - 6
Nigel McGuinness - 7
Lance Storm - 8
Bully Ray/Bubba Ray - 8

50 - Magnus
50 - Low-Ki
50 - Ricky Steamboat
50 - Ken Shamrock
46 - Muhammad Hassan

45 - Archibald Peck
44 - El Generico/Sami Zayn
43 - Randy Orton
42 - Scott Steiner
42 - Diamond Dallas Page

40 - Mark Henry
39 - John Cena
38 - Seth Rollins
37 - Kevin Nash
36 - Sabu

35 - The British Bulldog
34 - Austin Aries
33 - Randy Savage
32 - Christian
31 - Samoa Joe

30 - Shane McMahon
29 - Hulk Hogan
28 - Vince McMahon
27 - AJ Styles
27 - Kane

Any surprises there?

I'm personally a bit shocked to see the likes of Rick Rude, Owen Hart, and Jake Roberts miss out - but that probably reflects the younger audience that is represented on LU.

Damn straight i voted Del Rio you perro. Still one of my favourite to watch since i came back in 2011. Didn't realize how much i enjoyed his work until i completely marked out at Summerslam last year.

I think we should do a separate one for the divas, probably not 15 though, 5 or 10. What do you say Throppy?

I'll be doing separate count-downs for divas, tag teams, managers, and stables if the interest is there.

El Dandy?

Puh-Leaze!

It HAS to be Lizmark Jr, or Viano 5, but certainly none of the other Viannos.

Actually, as far as the Mexicans went who never went on to have decent or meaningful runs like Juvi, Rey etc. I was a fan of Super Calo (how he kept his hat on, I'll never know!) or La Parka but he did alright for himself, chairman and all.

=#50 - Magnus - 9 points

61fca0fd20d46cc3ca080261b3cb5860.jpg

Promotions: TNA
Finisher: Diving Elbow Drop/King's Lynn Cloverleaf
Titles: GHC Tag Team Champion (with Samoa Joe), IWGP Tag Team Champion (with Doug Williams), TNA World Heavyweight Champion, TNA World Tag Team Champion (with Doug Williams and Samoa Joe), 2011 Wild Card Tournament winner (with Samoa Joe).
A relatively new face in professional wrestling, TNA's Magnus (formerly Brutus Magnus) is a promising British talent who has the look and the charisma to be anything. A passable in ring worker, Magnus' recent run with the TNA title was aborted early, but I daresay there's more to be seen from this guy.

=#50 - Low Ki - 9 points

19.jpg

Promotions: TNA, WWE, ROH, PWG
Finisher: Dragon Clutch/Ghetto Stomp/Warrior's Wrath
Titles: ROH Champion, 3 x TNA Tag Team Champion (with Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper), 2 x TNA X-Division Champion, NXT Season 2 Winner (as Kaval).

With a unique look and an ominously deep voice, Low-Ki (known to WWE fans as Kaval) is a talented worker hindered by his relatively small stature and rumoured bad attitude. With a stiff, pureu style offense and remarkable speed, Low-Ki's best work was arguably in RoH and TNA, while his WWE stint was hindered by both his size and being saddled with bimbos to manage him.

=#50 - Ricky Steamboat - 9 points

rickysteamboat_nwa.jpg

Promotions: NWA, WWF, NJPW, WCW.
Finisher: Diving Crossbody.
Titles: WWF Intercontinental Champion.

It's perhaps criminal that a worker as legendary as 'The Dragon' is at the tail end of this countdown keeping company with indie darlings and TNA afterthoughts, but Steamboat's prime was perhaps before the majority of the voters got into wrestling.

Those who saw his more recent in ring return caught a glimpse of just how good this guy was, and you don't need to dig particularly deep to find plenty of famous Ricky Steamboat matches with the likes of Ric Flair and Randy Savage.

=#50 - Ken Shamrock - 9 points

453096.jpg

Promotions: WWE, TNA, UFC.
Finisher: Ankle Lock.
Titles: TNA World Heavyweight Champion, WWF Intercontinental Champion, WWF Tag Team Champion (with Big Boss Man), 1998 King of the Ring winner.

He was doing the MMA in WWE thing before Brock Lesnar was even a murmur of potential, and remains a part of the MMA scene even now that he has retired.

Ken Shamrock, billed as the World's Most Dangerous Man, during his WWE stint was a hard-hitting, scary looking submission specialist who enjoyed success both as part of the Corporation and as a foil in a memorable feud with Val Venis. His WWF/E run came to an end due to an injury rumoured to have been suffered at the hands of Mr. Hughes.

In the years since, Shamrock has appeared for promotions such as TNA, Ring of Honour, and even Juggalo Championshit Wrestling; but his heart has always belonged to MMA and it is there he will likely be best remembered.

#46 - Muhammad Hassan - 10 points

MuhammadHassan.jpg

Promotions: WWE.
Finisher: Camel Clutch.
Titles: N/A.

It was over in the blink of an eye, but Muhammad Hassan (Mark Copani)'s stint in the WWE was nothing if not memorable. The polarizing character - at first representing a man disenchanted with being treated poorly due to his Arabic background but eventually, inevitably morphing into a terrorist - featured in some memorable moments including a Royal Rumble appearance and a controversial feud with Undertaker that ultimately saw his character axed under pressure from UPN.

Hassan showed a great deal of charisma and competent in ring skills, but ultimately his desire to pursue legitimate acting and the controversial nature of his character meant he burned bright and disappeared only seven months after debuting.

#45 - Archibald Peck - 11 points

A_Peck.jpg

Promotions: CHIKARA and ROH.
Finisher: B-Flat/Cranial Crescendo/Unchained Melody
Titles: Multiple indy.

"Archibald Who?" I hear you cry. Perhaps best known for his charismatic, weird, cowardly character(s) from CHIKARA, Archibald Peck is a capable worker who has proven himself a master of multiple gimmicks - ranging from deranged band leader to 'mysterious stranger' to time traveler to Mixed Martial Archie.

He might never make it to the 'big leagues', but do yourself a favour and check out some of his often zany matches and promo work.

#44 - El Generic/Sami Zayn - 12 points

El_Generico.jpg

Promotions: ROH, CHIKARA, and WWE.
Finisher: Helluva Kick/Brainbustaaaaahhhhh!
Titles: ROH Tag Team Champion (with Kevin Steen) and ROH TV Championship.

Better known to contemporary WWE viewers as the plucky NXT star, Sami Zayn, El Generico is actually one of the most well traveled indie wrestlers out there and has been a major player in both Ring of Honor and CHIKARA.

Originally playing a generic masked luchador (El Generico), his transition from often comedic character to a darker, more characterful role brought him to the attention of WWE officials who have since had him lose the mask and repackaged him as a somewhat generic babyface. Even then, he's managed to set NXT aflame and it shouldn't be long before he's gracing RAW and Smackdown.

#43 - Randy Orton - 16 points from two voters

randy-orton-bio1.jpg

Promotions: WWE.
Finisher: RKO/Punt.
Titles: 4x World Heavyweight Champion, World Team Team Champion (with Edge), 8x WWE Heavyweight Champion, WWE Intercontinental Champion, 2009 Royal Rumble winner, 2013 Money in the Bank winner, and 17th Triple Crown Champion.

Debuting as a 22 year old, the third generation superstar would rise to fame on the back of his friendship with Triple H and his role in the Evolution stable that has recently been resurrected.

At his best when playing a cold-blooded, methodical heel, Orton's career has at times been bogged down by the WWE's desire to have him turn face, at which time he quickly becomes generic and boring and fans begin to hate him.

His early days saw a memorable 'Legend Killer' gimmick and series of matches, but he's also been involved in other memorable angles such as Rated RKO with Edge, The Legacy with Ted DiBiase Jr and Cody Rhodes, and the recent string of great matches with The Shield as part of Evolution.

Like him or hate him, it's hard not to respect the hard working star, who might have got his start through friendship, but has earned his spot as one of the best heels in the business today and a consistently enjoyable worker to watch at work.

=42 - Scott Steiner - 18 points from 2 voters

Scott-Steiner-psd53821.png

Promotions: WCW, WWE, ECW, and TNA.
Finisher: Frankensteiner/Steiner Recliner.
Titles:
TNA Tag Team Champion (with Booker T) and 2x WWE Tag Team Champion (with Rick Steiner).

It's hard to reconcile the genetically jacked freak that is Big Poppa Pomp with the smiling, blond haired high-flyer that introduced the United States to the Frankensteiner that John Cena butchers to this day.

Transitioning from a successful tag team wrestler to an intimidating big man whose propensity for nonsensical but nonetheless terrifying promos, Steiner was one of the stars of late WCW and had a forgettable run in WWE thanks largely to Triple H's desire to put over his own physique rather than work a feud.

=#42 - Diamond Dallas Page - 18 points from two voters

diamond-dallas-page-bio.png

Promotions: WCW, WWE, and TNA.
Finisher: Diamond Cutter.
Titles:
2 x WCW United States Champion, 3 x WCW World Heavyweight Champion, 4 x WCW World Tag Champion (twice with Kevin Nash, twice with Kanyon & Bam Bam Bigelow), WCW World Television Champion, 1996 Battlebowl winner, 4th WCW Triple Crown Champion, WWF European Champion, and WWF Tag Team Champion (with Kanyon).

Forget the utter abortion that was his WWE invasion run, Diamond Dallas Page was one of the break out stars in the dying years of WCW. Charismatic and surprisingly good in the ring for a man who came to the game late, Page was the face of WCW when its older stars had started to lose their luster.

In the years since hanging up the boots, DDP has transitioned into a motivational speaker that in many ways is a case of art imitating life - as his last real run in the WWF was as a God awful motivational speaker. Credited with the recovery of long time drug and alcohol abusers like Scott Hall and Jake Roberts, DDP continues to be an advocate for the business that mistreated him more often than it did him kind.
