NSW by 50 or 5 wickets
Get it on
resting our internationals and Hughs is out, this will test our depth
Blues are well and truly screwed now O-o
Copeland you f**king nuffy, that could be the game.
Why would Copeland be at slip anyway?
Burns runs himself out.
Lyon stikes!!! 3 for 73.
Australia's best ever off spinner doing his thing as per usual
Haha where are the GOAT haters now!
The GOAT on fire!!
Although getting Floros is nothing to be too excited about.
Unless Cutting refinds his form from two years ago this is going to be a shit score.
Cutting needs to score 150+
lol QLD suck, Lucky we left out Haze,Starc,Warner and Smith.
Rearend gone, will be lucky to get 200 now.
Almost. He scored about 120.
Wait that was his strike rate.
So far Qld's only score above 30 is from the bloke from NSW.
QLD, forever in our shadow.
Seriously, this is quite embarrassing with NSW winning the comp again quite comfortably without the leading run-scorer (Steve Smith) and leading wicket taker (Mitchell Starc) from last year's tournament. Even a full-strength Victard side was given 2 chances to topple them, and they couldn't.
Proposals for next year's tournament:
- Cricket Australia should do away with the CA XI side and replace it with an ACT franchise (would be good to see Canberra back in the state comp, like they were in the late '90s). CA XI have only won one game in their 2 seasons, and an ACT franchise would give Canberra (and the territory) the opportunity to develop their own players as well as increase the presence of cricket in the ACT.
- ALL games during the preliminary rounds at the teams' home venues, rather than North Sydney Oval/Hurstville Oval/Drummoyne Oval etc. monopolising the matches.
- If crowd attendances are to be increased, day/night matches to be only played on Friday and Saturday. The Sunday day/night match at North Sydney Oval last week didn't work, with the match finishing at 9:50pm and kids having to go to school the next day. A day fixture would've drawn a larger crowd.
There it is!
NSW win by 6 wickets (with 6.5 overs to spare).
Labuschagne player of the tournament, dafuq?
lucky we were not at full strength
