They usually own us,now that they have Cronk it’s going to make our job harder.

They usually own us through the forwards, that was when we were led by Captain Marshmellow.

Whilst I'm not expecting a win it I'm fairly certain they won't be marching downfield with ease like they are used to aaginst us. The biggest discrepancy is in the backs, they have skill, size and speed, we have none.

I don't think it will be a belting, the scoreline will be close enough for us to always feel like we're in with a chance, but ultimately never really look like winning.

Roosters 26-14.

Chooks have been an annoyance for a long time but we've been a bit of a frustrstion for Cronk....he's had a few of his worst games against us when we've gone in on him hard...he can be stopped

Need to put pressure on cronks kicking game and hurt Tedesco out of the game...if we can contain those two decent chance of winning imo.

Yep agree we’ve certainly aggravated the automaton Cronk especially in games at the 8th wonder which I’m extremely pissed off about this seasons scheduling of the home melb game to somewhere across the ditch.

I know on paper there will b a huge mismatch in the backs especially if Kev ‘tackle shy’ Naquama is in the team but there’s no reason we can’t spring an upset so early in the season.

I’m not concerned as much about the automaton as I am about the turd coz the turd tends to b at his most exceptional early in season b4 injuries start to hamper him as season progresses.

I will never forget that game at the 8th wonder v manly in the wet a few seasons ago where the turd was phenomenal.Barrett said they prepared for him intensely during the week but there was nothing they could do to thwart his brilliance.

One of those games where we always lose no matter roosters form but tigers have a good record in the opening round. If we keep them within 6 most of the game we can pull something out. If they get more then 12 point lead they will win by 20-30

It’s hard to know how the turd will play tbh. I’d say he will be told to take a back seat and chime in when necessary at the Roosters. If you worry about just him you’ve got other strike players that’ll bite you on your ass. Whereas at the Tigers he was our main point of attack

you can generally be certain teddy will play well, but who knows, he was pretty garbage for italy against mainly nsw cup standard opposition.

theres little doubt he and cronk will take a while to mesh, plus the fact that kearys been injured the last 4 weeks will put them back even further

maybe we'll get lucky and they'll be way off

I was at that game vs Manly.
Tapau and Gavet did a total number on the Manly pack that day.
