He's 21 yrs old ( same age as Ramien who's just come into first grade ) and statistically has a higher tackle efficiency than both Roberts and Mitchell with a far greater ( 20-30% ) sample margin = he's a far better defender than 2 guys being talked about for origin selection. , and indicates the attack is not going down his side to target him but rather his inside defender.

Is he a perfect defender ? no, but Sione is the least of our worries.

What I do find interesting is that when 1 or 2 people in a group have it in for someone and constantly bag them and spew negativity how easily the crowd follow - fascinating.

How different Sione's career thus far would be if he had of gone to a successful club and been slowly introduced to first grade in 1 chosen position instead of a club in a mess, perennial wooden spooner's and forced to constantly change position.

He bleeds red and blue and is the type of player any successful club is built on.

Yeah maybe we do- but it isn’t that surprising given when coming into the year you would’ve looked at our team on paper and identified that centre was maybe our weakest area. We went after a couple of centres and outside backs in the off-season but didn’t get anyone, and then 4 weeks into the season who people would say was the best centre at the club is out for the year and now we have Ross who is a winger playing centre and Sione adjusting to playing centre again.
