Agreed that Souths are going to be a bigger test than Titans.

We beat a Titans team without a firing fullback, and 1 player on the bench for half the match.

Sure, they got some luck tries that flattered them, but even if we beat them by 20 I would still be posting this for this week.

I'm looking for a solid performance by the team, no long periods of slacking off and letting the floodgates open. Be in the contest for the 80. If we lost by a try or two I'll be happy with that.

A win of course would be sensational.

You reckon?

Take out the 1 and 7 and what have they got over us?
Jake T for starters.

Green is a very good 5/8 too, certainly better than either of our halves.

Korisau is a great player too but not a hooker

Hell, even Dylan Walker would walk into our 3/4 line

I don't particularly rate any of those players to be honest. Jake T will just be an honest clubman IMO, I would take Barnett over him.

We gotta be confident going into this. Won't be easy but hoping we can be in it come the last 10 again.

Lets hope the fans show up. The crowd definitely lifted then at the end last week. Should be a cracker but hard to tip us if Reynolds and Walker play.

Thing we will be in it though.

Crowd will be 16-17k imo. Souths are generally one of our better drawing crowds.

We got 13k against the titans who are the worst drawing.

Completely disagree with Souths being a big step up from the Titans. If Souths' pack can't get rolling, they've got nothing; don't see Walker or Reynolds doing enough behind a pack that isn't rolling up the field easy. There's nobody who can really spark them like Inglis did. Titans had a better pack and we handled them well.

If they got plenty of confidence from the win, we should win this and even win it quite well. Souths looked good against Manly but Manly were absolutely woeful after the first 15 minutes.

Titans also had only one player to interchange for half the match and may have had a lot to do with how easy we handled them.

I'm not trying to discredit the Knights performance as they did well. But Souths should prove a bigger challenge.

Rabbitohs line-up is pretty unimpressive, particularly their other starting forwards (other than Burgess). If we keep up the intensity and effort from last week I think we're in with a good chance.

I feel like we've got them covered in the forwards and our backline actually looks pretty good compared to theirs. Their halves are definitely better than ours though. Reynolds is a master at getting repeat sets and creating pressure and Walker plays what's in front of him and is a pretty dangerous ball runner.

If we can win the forward battle and mininize their time attacking our goal line then I think we'll win. But if we let them get repeat set after repeat set which they are capable of doing then they'll wear us down and we'll concede points.

If our forwards stand up I believe we've got enough points in our backline to win a close one.
