1895 International to support Mediterranean Cup

This year's Mediterranean Cup in Lebanon is to receive financial support from the '1895 International' group.
Funds raised from the group's NRL Grand Final Breakfast at Huddersfield's historic George Hotel on October 5, will be used to support the four-team tournament, which features national sides from France, Lebanon, Morocco and Serbia-Montenegro, and will take place in Tripoli and Beirut between October 19-26.
The Med Cup follows the success of last year's inaugural clash between France and Lebanon, which attracted a 10,000 crowd to the Olympic Stadium in Tripoli.
The NRL Grand Final Breakfast is the first in a series of fund-raising initiatives organised by 1895 International. The event will feature live big-screen coverage of the morning's big match Down Under, along with a memorabilia auction and special guest appearances, and the day will continue with live coverage of the afternoon's National League Grand Finals.
Tickets for the event are priced at £10 each and are available from the George Hotel and through Huddersfield Giants ticket office or alternatively contact tony.kenny@codebluelimited.com (01484 483155).
