Was thinking Mario Fenech would enter discussions. 200+ games in top grade, captained 2 clubs, very passionate player with great ability etc but never played a test, never won a premiership or played in a GF, only played 2 origins in which he was beaten twice.

You do know that the NSWRL have nothing to do with the bloody award. It's the NRL referees who give out points and judge it. And that is the rules if the points are level there a dual winners.
