Look at Dufty the Dragons fullback nothing of him but he seems to be adjusting to FG, he did it tough early but is managing to handle it, what to say Kennedy wouldnt be able to do the same thing.

This club has gone from a club where we would give young players a go, to where it like the old Australian cricket team you need to wait your turn.

We dont expect 10 new guys in a hit, but lets test the water now and then, also helps when looking to keep or release
I'm with you Stake in regards to the lack of succession planning. With our season being all but faarrkked due to poor form and now fist faarrkked due to injuries the time is right to see who can handle the rise in class. No one is saying it will be easy and the majority of these kids may struggle....but if we uncover a couple of them who are up for it we will benefit over the next few years.

I always remember a pic in the paper many years ago.
Think the heading Gibsons babes.
A group of about 7 guys - including ET macgaw docking porter nixon.

They didnt win a comp that year but laid a platform for what was to come.

Im excited at next weeks game.
I hope the big 4 are out.
I hope noone gives us a snowballs.
I hope the Pennies turn up to win by 40.

Lost count of how many times ve seen in this game a side turn up with no chance get the points.

This is the true test of a coach. Thats why lvan cleary wipes the floor with trent robinson and bennet. They wouldnt get close to what he's done with a reserve grade side.

Waynes one true test came at newcastle and he failed and ran straight back to his SOO/test side in brisbane.

Over to you Flanno.
Get this side up - or at least to turn up and give it a red hot shake - and you win a mountain of respect.

How good is Maloney going! Hes the pickup of the season for penrith, he has found a new gear that he hasnt had in a while. Moylan is still in reverse.

Not sure if this rumour is even about Moylan, but the third paragraph could explain why he looks disinterested. TBH he was playing exactly the same in his has 5 or 6 games for the Panthers. Something isn't right with him.

3rd paragraph

Haha.

Luke even you should know it’s a player the Riff sent to the Gold Coast.

Was never a going to end well up there for him.

And yes he started in the starting line up but didn’t take long for him to end up on the bench.

Yep and the stains took their time with him

We have two guys just turned 22 and you all bag the shit out of them.

Who are the 2, if one is Holmes he is SOO player so you expect him to aim up each week, show his mental toughness and get in there and bust a gut, against Drags he waited till what 35 minutes to take a run

You’d expect a kid to be given more than a season at fullback to develop

And not having to use barbas block play that everyone reads so well these days.

The rest of his game at the back was very good, made plenty of metres and was generally good under the highball.

Surely. Hes not a fullback, he provides nothing in attack, he provides nothing in defence, all he has is kick return meters.
Hes not a fullback. Let it go.

OK, I’m game to weigh in on Moyza the myth.

Test of character for this prick this weekend.

Bet the answer is a resounding, steaming turd.

Attitude? No f**ks given.

Yeah, you could well be right.

And you are way better off with both him and Moylan gone.

You have a far more consistent team now and playing so much more straight and direct.

Maloney absolutely destroyed the Titans today.

And the Sharks won’t be destroying anyone anytime soon.

Hard to argue

He was like a petulant little child on Friday, the way he was moping around when things didn’t go his way.

They didn’t go his way due to lack of effort & desire.

Yep. What do you put his petulance down to out of interest?
