What people need to understand with this case, is that unless the player admits to consuming drugs, then it cant be confirmed that he took drugs.

Even with the grainy video, and even CCTV putting them in the venue, the player could always just say that the substance was something legal. There is no way to prove otherwise. And whilst we'd all know it was BS, without a possession charge, or a positive drug test, it's pure speculation.
