As the other thread hit capacity lets start again.

I'll start it off, If anyone from the club is reading this Semi Radradra and James Roberts would be very handy additions to our squad ;-)

35 tries per season between those two. Tasty.

"The Courier-Mail can reveal McQueen has rejected a formal offer from the Titans and is set to sign with a Sydney-based NRL rival pending a formal release from Souths."

Who is the Syd based rival? Would much prefer Mcqueen to Joseph.

Anyone know anything about Warren Clare from PNG Hunters getting a trial run with us?

Spoke with a player this morning, one of our new signings Josh Cleeland is blowing him away. Townsend should be concerned.

Good to hear. Players fighting for positions can only be a good thing for the club.

    ^^^This.
    Townsend will be the 7.
Flanno won't have it any other way.

Just watched a highlights clip of the Cleeland.

    On the field, he's busier than a one-armed-pimp in a bitch-slapping contest.

The Chad is in more trouble than a Goth kid in a heatwave.

Nah, I'm sure Chad's in the clique. He'll be fine.

    Like Murphy was last year.

Let's hope he's given a chance in first grade.

Cleeland's still young, I think it's fair for the more experienced Townsend to have first crack in first grade. The onus is on the Cleeland to consistently outperform Townsend, if he does once the season's in and Flanno doesn't select the best halfback option, THEN be upset... A good pre-season doesn't (and shouldn't) gift you an NRL jumper.

Fuggen Murphy talk again... did you see Murphy play NSW Cup? Huge reports about Murphy being a great performer in the pre-season but had issues with his talk... I only saw him play four games in NSW Cup, but he was VERY quiet, and seemed low on confidence. He was never going to oust Robson, ESPECIALLY once we'd settled on Bird as a 5/8 who would've struggled even more with a quiet, inexperienced halfback inside him.

Agreed Ghoti - but he gifted Robson a whole season last year when every man and his dog could see the deficiencies in his game. Flanno is very stubborn.

I miss the good old days when Chad couldn't get a game because Flano wouldn't pick him.
