2009 looks set to be an expensive year if we'll be looking to re-sign the majority of those coming off contract.

id honestly be happy if we chopped every player coming off contract this year though.

edit: ok the list has changed since i posted that...

of our top grade players, id be happy if we gave the chop to Perry, Woolnough (providing we get one decent replacement), Tanner, Thaiday, Carmont and Newton this year.

yeah i thought pato was already signed... and a damn good thing too... from what i've seen he has quite a future.. great ball playing skills for a forward.

He's got massive potential. Breaks the first tackle every time and always gets over the advantage line, just an incredible amount of strength, size and speed like a younger Willie Mason.

He's yet to fill out too - he's got another 5-10 kg of muscle to add to that 195cm 105 kg frame of his.
