I genuinely feel sorry for Melbourne's fans, players and coaching staff. However there is a side of me that is not disappointed that this has happened to the storm because of its ownership by News Limited.
News Limited came in and raped the game, forcing traditional clubs like my beloved Balmain to merge or fold. I cant help but think that this situation has dragged News Ltd's reputation further into the gutter, and hopefully is another step in ending their part ownership of this great game.
I know that this is a selfish attitude as this has hurt the game's reputation and many league fan's hearts. However i cant but help think that there is a touch of Karma here for News Ltd.
