On the back of the game's first double tribal council, both teams Newton and Simpson arrived ready to vote out one of their own. For the until now unbeaten Team Newton, it would be our first chance to see where the loyalties of its members lay.
"Team Newton, you have the honour of going first" said Benny, and so it was that Pumba was eliminated in a one-sided landslide, without a single vote going to anyone else (it should also be noted that Pumba counted as voting for himself, as he did not submit a vote).
Pumba, who had yet to say a word in the entire game, was unsurprisingly unphased by his elimination from the game - although he did send a silent, angry stare to the members of his tribe.
"In Team Simpson things were considerably less clean cut," Chris began, "With voting split between two tribe members. In the end, however, it was lucky7 who was eliminated with beef also receiving two votes".
lucky7, who had until now been strong for her tribe, learned the valuable lesson of participating to your fullest in every challenge.

Benny steps forward with an eager look on his face as lucky7 and Pumba are escorted from the tribal council.
"Easy tiger" Chris reminds him, unsure exactly what it is that has Benny excited. Maybe it's the prospect of the steak dinner the two hosts will later be enjoying. Perhaps it's an episode of Numb3rs coming up. Or perhaps he's just a bastard, and likes to see people suffer.
