Disappointing but not surprising. For too long the clubs (some in particular) have determined RL in this State. Fortunately we do now have a WARL board that is much stronger and is working hard to wrestle that power back so that more strategic direction for the game in all parts of WA is developed.

What are the benefits from playing all away games and then playing all home games anyway?

I'm afraid we have to share the pitch with the ruggeroids and other sports. Pity the council cannot give us a proper nominated RL ground like the AFL lot have. Typical.

I guess the club is still young, you would hope the WARL and Titans can start pressuring the council for dedicated field and clubhouse in time to come. look how long it has taken Joondalup! Sadly RL still has a very poor profile in the State and it hampers clubs being able to get things from the council and Government. Just another thing that the new WARL and NRL team can and will put right!

Exactly. The club is still very young. Not to mention, besides the AFL, do any other sports have their own dedicated ground in the Goldfields? .. Probably not .... so, it's quite unreasonable to expect any different, and hardly fair to the council to consider it an injustice [particularly when considering the landscape of sport in Western Australia]. This is not a problem exclusive to Rugby League, even if you wish to personalise it as such.

RL has quite an extensive history in the Goldfields going back many years Nicolas. It's the one eyed attitude of general WA folk when it come to any football code other than Australian Rules. I am surprised you didn't know this considering you seem to be quite knowledgable of virtually all sports?
