Yeah i dont entirely get what mining is?

The replacement for Jacksons on George.......

Late-night live-music institution Jacksons on George closed on Sunday to make way for a three-level gastropub
and rooftop bar owned by commercial developer Lendlease.

Jacksons on George, which was previously leased by Gallagher Hotels and opened in 1986,
will be replaced by a futuristic new design from local architecture firm Stewart Hollenstein.

Demolition will begin in the next 30 days, and a development application (DA), which outlines the new plans,
is under assessment by the Central Sydney Planning Committee.
