chambers played on the weekend, i recall he had good points and bad points but dont remember much more than that as preparations (read piss up) had already commenced for the big game later that night.

Next year will be Sam's coming out party. Had alot of injuries but they seem to be behind him now. We need another back-rower on the bench next year, it could be him.

As the old boxing saying go's a good big man beats a good little man. I'd guess Israel is a good 6"4" and will max out at over 100kg whereas Samau is about Slaters size.

Israel will probably get it eventually, though Samau will play a fair bit till he's ready. He will though eventually replace Matt King in the centre's in about 3-4 years

Which is why I'm baffled over this whole Steve Turner situation, as good as he is we dont really need him short or long term.

i saw a replay of the norths game on fox.....that tagatese? guy is a machine no doubt he will be a bench player next year now that kidwell is going, a good replacement for either crocker or hoffman

With a full strength team, the bench would probably look like this:

That last spot would possibly be for a utility player like an Aubusson or something... Depends if Bellamy goes for a 4 forward bench, then Tagataese could/should get that 4th spot.

4 tries to a second rower is a performance difficult to ignore. Nothing against Aubusson's game, but I'd swap Taga for him. He is obviously in great form, so while he is playing well we should give him a chance. Offers some back-up for Crocker too whilst he returns to 100% fitness.

And I reckon we'll be all right come Origin time too as Will Chambers seems ready as well.

Bloody Nicolau, he's about the only bloke in the past few years who has left who I would actually want back at the club. Good to see Bartlett in some form too, he's another who will definitely be needed at Origin time.
