This is a summary of who owns the NRL clubs, for those that don't know.

You can tell which ones are member-owned because they are "limited by guarantee". However not all teams include actual football club membership in their "membership packages".

All info is correct to the best of my knowledge, if anyone knows some of the missing details or corrections, please advise.

I think WIN own about 50 % of Illawarra District Rugby League Football Club Limited - Not St George

But I could well be wrong. I do know that the money for Bellamy / Bennet as coaches was being offered up by Bruce Gordon (WIN)

NRL doesnt own the tigers. they have 3/7 people on the board. It is still a 50/50 JV between Wests and Balmain, unless balmain cant repay their bills in around 2 years time.

They were NRL appointed but do not represent the NRL in any way shape or form. They are completely independent. They dont get paid by the nrl as far as i know.

If I owned Souths then I would have 100 percent control over the club. None of this being partially owned by Crowe and the rest being owned by members. If I am going to pour money in to the club then I want to own and control everything.

Its the only way private ownership can work

the date is march 30, 2016, or there abouts, when balmange has to pay their debt back. if they cant then wests will take over their share if they choose to take financial responsibilty, or they might let wests c'town take it over. the board used to be 4 seats wests ashfield, 1 seat wests c'town, 5 seats balmange football club. the reason wests c'town pulled out and gave their seat to west ashfield was because balmange started giving wests tigers $0 yet still had 5 seats(votes) on the board, where as wests c'town were still giving wests tigers funds, yet still only had 1 vote.

"Wests Campbelltown have always supported the JV, however the club were given legal advice that if the JV went broke the partners of which Campelltown was one would be responsible for any debts (balmain for example) so it decided as we know to opt out of the JV as it had most to lose ( Narellan estate) however C/T club still supports the JV by way of a grant each year by way of sponsorship to the equivalent dollar value as it would pay as it would be paying if it were still a JV member
So CT is still well and truly committed to the JV to the tune of SEVERAL hundred thousands of dollars"
