How the f**k did Coote get off? It was identical to the one Wighton was suspended for.

Can someone explain the difference between what Fatfita got charged for, and what Gal wasn't charged for against the Eels when he collared IDG? Apart from the risk of Gal missing his origin farewell if suspended?

Only if you can explain the difference between the Inglis and Kade Snowden broken jaw suspensions. One gets 3 weeks the other 7 weeks.

dunno
Can anyone tell me the why wade Graham got suspended for a head high on Thurston
But Thurston didn't even get penalised for a head high on Tedesco
I do believe he broke Tedesco's nose in the process .

Its a mystery

Headlines guys... read the story.

He's facing 5 weeks. It's only 7 if he challenges unsuccessfully.

And the only reason he's facing that long out is because he has 100% loading (2 prior similar offences in the past two years).

Moving along, in addition to Gubb, Greg Bird is also looking at time out for being a grub on Friday night...

NRL MATCH REVIEW: 2016 Round 19
LeagueUnlimited Media | July 17 2016 9:00PM

A look at the charges so far from Round 19 of the National Rugby League.

Friday | Dragons v Titans

Gold Coast second rower Greg Bird is facing a week on the sidelines after being hit with a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle charge on St George Illawarra five-eighth Gareth Widdop in the 36th minute of his side's 32-12 win on Friday night. The base penalty of 125 increases with Bird's carryover points and 70% loading, meaning an early plea is only worth 159 points (one week), while a guilty finding at judiciary will see him miss two matches (212 points).

Saturday | Sea Eagles v Warriors

Charlie Gubb from the Warriors is facing a heavy suspension for his 13th minute Grade 2 Shoulder Charge on Manly's Darcy Lussick in Saturday night's golden point loss in Perth. The charge attracts a 350 point base penalty, which with 100% loading for 2 prior offences in the last two years, sees Gubb in line to miss anywhere from five games (525 points with the early plea) to seven (700 points if found guilty at the judiciary).

Of course it's still true - but it's the story told to make things looks worse than they are to get a reaction from people.

Given that the majority of cases never make the judiciary, it's more accruate to say he's facing five weeks, with the possibility of seven if he faces the judiciary and fails.

Either way, very few outlets report the facts that he wouldn't be getting such a big suspension if he didn't have loading from similar charges in the past 12 months...

Updates from Sunday games

Sunday | Knights v Storm

The Knights have had three players cited from yesterday's loss to Melbourne.

Daniel Saifiti has been issued a Grade 1 Shoulder Charge offence with a 200 point base penalty. An early plea (150) for the incident involving Cameron Munster in the 51st minute will see him miss only one week, while an unsuccessful contest at the judiciary will see him serve two matches.

Jake Mamo has been hit with a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact - Head/Neck charge (250 points) which will see him miss a week with the early plea (187). He'll miss two weeks if he challenges unsuccessfully at judiciary for the contact on Tohu Harris in the 73rd minute.

Sione Mata'utia has a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge arising in the 26th minute onDale Finucane, for which he'll only miss a week if he contests at judiciary (105). An early plea, despite his carryover points, will see him escape suspension (78).

Sunday | Panthers v Eels

Penrith's Leilani Latu has been hit with a Grade 1 Tripping charge from an incident involvingClint Gutherson in the 60th minute of his side's win over Parramatta. With 75 points as the base penalty reduced to 56 with an early plea, Latu won't miss any game time.
