Don't forget Carseldine Hiney :p

Locky, you're the dumbest merkin on these forums. Henriques has played 6 FC games, 14 domestic one dayers, and is 21 years old. WTF do you expect, Jacques Kallis? We know you'll never rate a Bluebagger in your life, regardless of performance (except the Queensland hack who masquerades as one) but just STFU and stop lowering the general IQ of this place with your sh*t.

Overrated Henriques gone..fair dinkum for all the predictions the bloke has been very ordinary.

Give the bloke time, all rounders take time to develop. Hes starting to come along nicely, bowling accurately only went for 2.5rpo against Victoria and his batting is coming along nicely. Hes got starts throughout this season and now hes cracked the 50 against an International attack.

I am saying he is being found out big time. His bowling is not as good as most thought and his batting ranges from ordinary to dead ordinary
He's 21. Do you have any idea of how long it takes to mature as a cricketer? If australia wrote players off in their early 20's warne and Mcgrath would never have got anywhere. You give people a bit of time and they often mature into better plyaers (which is ok in cricket as they have a longer lifespan compared to many other sports). But you are Locky so i guess not.

Seriously, are you ever going to just f**k off? We get it, you are a gee-up, and hahaha its very amusing, whether you are the soliciter with the american fiance and the kid, or the raging homosexual with the watto fetish, or the 16 year old girl who must keep up with the news, because you certainly seem to always have your finger on the button. We get it, you're having a laugh. But please, you are a royal pain in the arse and clutter up the cricket board with inane writings, rediculous watto devotion and attacks on those cricketers who dont meet your attrictive criteria. Just piss off

NZ call for back-up

The Black Caps have sent for reinforcements amid concerns over the availability of gloveman Brendon McCullum (back) and top-order slugger Jesse Ryder (virus) for next Thursday's first Test against Australia in Brisbane.
Peter Fulton will link with the squad for the duration of the tour on Monday in the event Ryder, who spent most of Thursday on a drip, fails to overcome the effects of the virus in time, while Gareth Hopkins will also arrive on Monday as an emergency squad member.
McCullum failed to return to the field after tea on day-two of the Kiwis' tour match against NSW at the SCG after complaining of back spasms.
But while the tourists wasted no time issuing the SOS call across the Tasman the vice-captain is still a chance to take his place when play resumes on Saturday.
"He is hoping to be on the field tomorrow morning but we won't know that until we see how he scrubs up in the morning," team manager Lindsay Crocker said.
"Again with him there's a range of possibilities in regards to next week, firstly and hopefully he'll be fine to participate fully in the match, batting and keeping."
"The other possibility of course remains that if his back isn't right he may only participate as a batsman … the third possibility is that if his back really does cause him problems over the next few days it's of course possible that he doesn't play at all."
Quizzed on the nature of the injury Crocker revealed: "He's had a bit of a stiff back for the last two or three days and today during the course of the second session he was feeling a bit of spasms in the back."
"He has had a history of having a sore back, it's kind of an occupational hazard with Brendon … it's certainly not something that's new to him."
Meanwhile, New Zealand seamer Iain O'Brien conceded the five catches his side grassed on Friday severely hampered their cause as the Blues built a 43-run lead at stumps.
"They hurt us and we could of rock-and-rolled them for 250 had we taken the five catches," O'Brien lamented.
"We dropped guys that went on to get good scores."
Blues opener Phillip Hughes, who struck a commanding 64 before flailing at a wide delivery, made no secret of his side's desire to ram home its advantage over the remaining two days.
"You don't play an international side every day of the week and to get the opportunity is great," the 19-year-old said.
"It's always (about building) momentum so hopefully we can win this game and definitely it will give us momentum going into a Sheffield Shield game against Queensland next Friday."

Henriques has played 7 First Class Match
Batting
11 innings 189 runs @18.9 (55 highest)

Bowling
88 overs, 21 madiens, 7 wickets @ 33 (alright for now)

Watson played 7 Test Macth
Batting
11 innings 251 runs @ 22.18 (78 highest)

Bowling
146.4 overs, 25 madiens, 12 wickets @ 37

although im comparing test match to first class game; if you agree that Henriques is not of first class standard, thenyou must also agree that Watson is not of test standard. Both have played 7 matchs and show similar stats, Watson is new to the Test arena while Henrique is new to first class cricket. The major difference is that Henriques can swing the ball, and is light years ahead of Watson at the same age.
Remember that Watson developed his batting when he was having back problems and couldn't bowl. Then he was a bowling alrounder who couldn't bowl. Now he is a batting alrounder, who I wouldn't bat above 7 in a test match and can't bowl.
Henriques is a genuine openning bowler and a proven alrounder, his batting has been compared to Mark Waugh in style and technique. Watson is techniqually good but does not have the brain to make big innings. He has an avg of 45 in the first class setting, but guys like Jauqes, Rogers, Katich D.Hussey, Marsh all avg about 55 and find it hard make an impression in the test arena. Hadidn avgd 55 in the last 2 seasons and finding also has found it harder at test level. Watson will be lucky to get his avg above 30 in tests.
