Maybe in budget. The longer this goes on, the more chance his price will rise and be outside our cap limit. Being selected for the Kiwi side will only add to his value/price. Same goes for Mann, if he does well while Widdop is out, his will be in demand.

Say what you will, it is a mess that could have easily been avoided.
We paid Widdop what he originally demanded if not a little more.
If we sign Dugan, we will be paying him basically what he wants and beyond what we wanted to pay him by about 150k.

All of this delay with no apparent gain. The downside is that Packer, Lafai and Mann are performing well and now might cost more than they would have if signed earlier.

The best players are not being selected. The players in Millward's future plans are being selected, thus the exclusion of Milne and up until now, Mann. In my opinion this is not the way to run a Club.

Packer for mine. Graham is very good but coming the end of his career. Packer still has 3-4 years of good footy in front of him, hopefully in the Red V.
