Just heard it on Channel 7 news about 45 seconds ago.
Can't find anything on the internet. Bullshit or what?
Gold Coast Titans forward Paul Carter has been stood down effective immediately for drink driving.
Carter was charged by police for high-range drink driving on Wednesday night.
"Paul Carter has been stood down, effective immediately, from playing by the club after being charged by police overnight with high range drink driving," the Titans said in a statement on Thursday.
"The NRL's Integrity Unit has been advised of the offence and the club will continue to work closely with the NRL as the matter is further investigated."
The 22-year-old son of former Panthers playmaker Steve Carter joined the Titans as a rookie after a number of years in the Bulldogs' development program.
He made his NRL debut off the bench in the Gold Coast's 18-12 season-opening win.
Unsurprising when your mentor is Greg 'get a glass in ya' Bird.
Strange journalism in this report....
"Carter was charged by police for high-range drink driving after blowing almost four times the legal blood-alcohol limit on Wednesday night.
Worse still, the 22-year-old is a P-plater and therefore not allowed to have any alcohol in his system while driving."

So he was almost four times over the legal limit.....of 0% BAC.
Four times zero still equals zero. Carter's limit is 0.00% BAC not 0.05% as implied in this report.
Only in Queensland......
Seriously...this f**king 'Oh no my fantasy team!' stuff is pathetic.
Is it the first thing you nuffs think of? Not that a young star is caught DUI, and high end at that, and how it affects his club? Same with the Peats injury, now this. Lame.
fairly obvious from context that they meant the legal limit for open license holders, the 0.05 that everyone is familiar with. A little clumsy maybe, but hardly worth getting worked up over.
