Both played very well. I'm happy with Kodi, as I'm sure Rooster fans will be happy with Jayden. The need to put down one just because they don't play for your team while talking the other one up because they do, is pretty pathetic really.

Kodi has played for New Zealand and Jayden wants to play for Australia. Strange situation.

Both Kodi and Jayden were born in New Zealand. However, they moved to Australia when Jayden was 10 years old. According to this article published by the Courier Mail last year, Kodi identifies more as a Kiwi whereas Jayden had his heart set on representing for Qld and Australia, he feel more like an Australian which is why he has played for the Junior Kangaroos. Hunt was only 20 years old when Ivan was last in charge. Despite giving him opportunities to succeed as a starting halfback, Hunt was not ready to take advantage of them. Henjak recognised that and to help accelerate his development gave him a gig off the bench which clearly benefited his game.

So of all the poor decisions, Ben Hunt's development was not one of them.

Hook is a different story entirely.
