Results from the first weekend of Finals.

1. Elimination Final
Agmark Rabaul Gurias 34 def Gulf Isapea 12

2. Preliminary Final
Mt Hagen Eagles 12 def Enga Mioks 8

Last years defending champions the Agmark Rabaul Gurias stay alive for another weekend. They will play Enga Mioks who lost to the Mt Hagen Eagles.

The Eagles will now play Minor Premiers Lae Tigers to see who gets to book the first Grand Final spot.

Minor Premiers Lae Snax Tigers booked the first Grand Final spot after defeating the MT Hagen Eagles 24-22 in Port Moresby yesterday.

In the other Elimination Final defending Champions Agmark Rabaul Gurias defeated the Enga Mioks 22-6 to keep their dreams alive and leaving them with just one more game to qualify for another Grand Final.

This Sunday the Rabaul Gurias will play the Mt Hagen Eagles to see who progresses to play against the Lae Tigers in the Grand Final.

The Rabaul Gurias defeated the MT Hagen Eagles 19-12 to book a place in this weeks Grand Final and also giving themselves are chance of winning back to back titles.

This will also be the the Rabaul Gurias 3rd straight Grand Final appearance.

They will face Minor Premiers Lae Tigers this Sunday.

Congratulations to the Lae Tigers for winning the 2016 PNG Digicel Cup.
They Defeated the Rabaul Gurias 12-8.

This was the the Tigers first premiership and they had to dig deep to win it and in doing so they stopped the Rabaul Gurias from winning back to back titles.
