Preseason options for the ISC / QRL ?

So could any kind of event(s) work to annually kick start the ISC / QRL season ?

* ISC Sunshine Nines ?

* Clash of the Coasts - Burleigh v Sunshine Coast

* BRL Premiers v Country Invitational XIII

* League Unlimited QRL Forum Regulars v Qld RL Press Gallery
(NB. May struggle to make a team of 13 up for both sides )

that couldn't happen unless they pushed the Auckland 9s back 2 weeks which is impossible as the WCC is played then

I like the 9's option.

Perhaps use the 9's format to bring back the Bulimba Cup. You could have a one day carnival where the best of Brisbane clubs play Ipswich and a Toowoomba rep side. Play each other once and then a final making 4 games for the day.

Well NSWRL has their NSWRL International Cabramatta 9's (RM Cup and International (mostly Australian heritage) teams - something like up to 30 nations could be represented in 2016), so why not QRL!
