I think this squad is just the squad so far, none of the profiles are new they're either old ones or photoshopped. I wouldn't discount any signings.

It's one of the best Souths squads I've seen since 2015. This squad shits all over our 2016 and 2017 one. Our young players are the ones I'm the most excited to see.

Agreed I think the bigger salary cap has definitely helped us in terms of depth.

Our young guys are a few years older and more wise and the young guns coming through are talented.

Theres a good mix of experience and youth.

That's a blatant lie. Only squads that could beat it would be 2012-15.

I'm looking forward to 2018 especially with the likes of Crichton, Fui and Murray having another year under their belt along with a fit GI and Gagai's signing.

For the first time since 2015 I'm actually excited about our side. We may not launch ourselves into the top 8 but we have so many GOOD young players compared to other teams in the NRL. We are finally following a good structure with a solid mix of youth and experience.

Something that's a big positive to me is the fact that we don't rely on Reynolds and Inglis anymore. We have threats forming all across the park in Walker, Crichton, Gagai, AJ, Surgess. If Reynolds and Inglis fire I give us a chance at the top 8. The fact that we don't have to purely rely on the Burgess twins is also refreshing. Really looking forward to the new recruits and young guns stepping up and really pushing the burgess'.

There's much more positives to this side than there has been the past 2 seasons.

Got to agree the squad doesn’t give you much hope in next season and with a rookie coach it’s going to be a very long season next year. Hopefully our under performing players this year lift for next year eg Reynolds, Tom, George, Sutto
