Just in case anyone is interested in attending this function i thought i'd place the details here.
Been to a couple of the past lectures which were interesting and gave opportunity to mingle with some well known league identities and history buffs of our game.
The scones with jam and cream were a winner too !!!

The 2014 Ross Livermore Lecture will be held on Saturday, August 16, at 10am in the Paddington Room at Suncorp Stadium.
Former top referee Geoff Mines will deliver the address, titled 'Men in the Middle'.
The MC on the day will be media personality John McCoy, a member of the QRL History Committee, which co-hosts the event with the Queensland Rugby League.
The lecture, formerly known as The Harry Sunderland Address, is named in honour of former long-serving QRL Managing Director, the late Ross Livermore, an inaugural member of the History Committee.
Background video footage will accompany Mines' presentation, which promises to provide an entertaining account of refereeing in Queensland.
Morning tea will be served at the conclusion of official proceedings.
Admission is free, but for catering purposes, those wishing to participate are asked to register their attendance with the QRL, by email - rugbyleague@qrl.com.au or by telephoning (07)3367 6000.
