a laughable decision that

Campbell ran into Price...I know.

That was such a dumb decision.

Koopu's grounding was a little questionnable though

Price/Campbell thing was correct imo

Prices run was blocking the space for Campbell to get through and pressure the kicker, who had no pressure on him due to that contact

Costigimp has been at his woeful best tonight. All his calls were out early
"The Lions got the chocolates"
"Titans need to score if they want the cash"
"Get out of my way he says"
"He waits with his boarding pass"
"4 minutes til Oranges"

Sadly for Halligan he hasn't used his "Johnny on the spot" yet

As for Witt, most of his shots are close to in front or next to the posts... of course he's going to have a higher percentage.

He can still kick them pretty well from the sideline though.

Not a great performance us....but we'll take it without Mckinnon and Crockett.

A couple of my favourite calls my the commentatory team were..

-"Vautvei hasn't barely made an error over the last month"
-Ropati- "You're making a habit of hat tricks"
-Rovelli-"Well actually it's my first one."

Hehe I know. When I saw his reaction I was thinking 'oh dear that don't look good' then he disappared out on the wing for 2-3 plays but was back defending pretty well.

I just find it funny how the commentators like to mention his defense.

I know it's minor but deadset, Rovelli's putdowns are dubious at best. He needs to improve his technique when he's crossing the line.

As for Witt, most of his shots are close to in front or next to the posts... of course he's going to have a higher percentage.

Some one's jealous! :p

Witt has knocked over plenty from the sideline. He still nailed the best kick of the year for mine at Cronulla into a howling cross wind, from the sideline. No dramas, sweet as you like.

You just have to kick what's in front of you.

It wasn't so long ago that I laughed at Witt missing goals from in front in the Parra v Warriors 2003 game when he was just 19

I remember that same season going to Parra stadium, and Witt killing us in an unbelievable come back. Devastating.

He did it the next year, except not from behind, just gave us a caning.

I really admire Michael for coming over to Auckland to give his flailing FG career some new life.

He's going to be a regular fixture for us in the years to come.
