The members at the game obviously know their stuff as they see it live and not in the NT!!!!!! FACT........


I love reading other Souths media on the net as the support for Cookie is unrelenting just like at games and in the general street when you say G'Day to fellow members/supporters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think fans tend to think that if given the chance, Cook could transform the team and they would be vindicated in their superiority over the coach.

Of course it all falls apart when you consider Cook has been given so many chances to to take the 9 jumper for his self.

I think I've let it be known multiple times I'm not a Goodwin fan. But I'm a realist. If he is the best option then he should be there. Many of the cook fans can't do that. They like the guy and want him to be their no matter what, even at the expense of players who doing better than him. He is definetely got a cult following

Goodwin is a good player but signing Gagai over him is a major upgrade. Gagai is one of the best outside backs in the comp I put Goodwin in around the middle of the outside backs.

Maybe at the start of the year. But now that cook had his crack and has now lost out to farah again that talk has mostly disappeared. Maybe it's a channel 9 thing ( i watch fox).

The other night against the Titans, Ennis and Parker were talking about why does Madge persist with 2 hookers. Aside from the fact it's a valid point they also eluded to the fact that if cook can't crack 1st hooker than there's no point him being on the bench, because as history has shown us, the 2 hooker scenario isn't working.

I tend to agree , Farrah brings experience, and consistency and his defense are way better than cook, I do get worried if Both Hookers are on in a close game with 10 mins to go. Cook is a livewire but is unpredictable ...I was skeptical of farrah at the start of the season , I have warmed to him after each game..
