Anyone got any info on the Waikato v Auckland game lsat week or the Wellington v Canterbury game. Saw a small right-up in the Sunday paper

See Canterbury hosting Auckland side today and Wellington travelling up to the mighty Waikaro region

Mate there has been some good write up in local papers from the other Divisions.

I am really looking forward to the Wellington vs Auckland match because that is the Final match that was never played last year.

Wellington Team for Waikato match

Wellington have named their team for the NPC game against Waikato this weekend. There are several changes to the team that beat Canterbury last week. Stand off Anton Werata is back in the team having been a late withdrawal last week. Experienced second row and Wainuiomata stalwart Lancer Solofa gets his chance to claim a spot leading into the Auckland match next week. University's Fabian Tauli was brought into the team against Canterbury after a last minute callup from the airport and has maintained his place in the team after a good performance. The team features a very mobile, hard working pack, with a few big boppers to come off the bench.

The game kicks off at 2.30 at Whakatiki Street, Upper Hutt. The Wellington Maori v Wellington Samoa are the curtain raiser, kicking off at 12.45.

The Wellington team for Saturday is Greg Deanne, Mark Ioanne, Matt Brooking, Matt Everitt, Mike Sharp, Anton Werata, Graham Rattenbury, Tino Brown, Roger Burt, Kelvin Mathie, Sini Allen, Jack Muir, Mike Orbell, Fred Laumua, Lancer Solofa, Fabian Tauli, Shannon Hogan with the 18th Man being Mike Nathan
