Most pundits seem to be already giving it to Jamayne Isaako. I like Isaako and I've watched him play as a junior here in Christchurch, so I consider myself a bit bias towards him.

But personally, I feel like it's pretty hard to look past young Jesse Ramien from the Sharks. That kids a gun.

At the Roosters it is Victor Radley. However as he has had two suspensions this year, under the NRL's rules, he is ineligible to win the Rookie of the Year award.

Isaiah Papali'i has been the Warriors best rookie.

Isaako has been the one of the best Broncos player this year and would be a deserving winner.

Rhys Martin has been awesome since he got the gig, second coming of corey parker.

Other than him, The Noodle, Jesse Raimen although if Lewis had played more games he'd be up there.

Someone needs to explain the rookie concept to Mary. He needs to understand that switching Jason Nightingale to middle forward for the first time in his career doesn’t make him a rookie.
